Super Bowl LXI will be the first of its kind produced in its entirety by ESPN. In a push to add further eyeballs to the production, ESPN parent company Disney will simulcast the contest on its streaming service Disney+, both ESPN and Disney announced in a Wednesday update.

The much-anticipated NFL game will still air on ABC, ESPN, and further ESPN products, including the ESPN. The Disney+ simulcast will be available in 55 international markets, including nations that hosted recent NFL games, such as Australia and Brazil.

ESPN's esteemed duo of play-by-play man Joe Buck — fresh off a six-year, $108 million contract extension — and color commentator Troy Aikman will be on the call for Super Bowl LXI.

Disney+ is home to over 135 million subscribers (and counting), offering the company ample opportunity to promote the NFL to both younger viewers — and their parents — in a likely push to make Super Bowl LXI the most-viewed NFL game of all time.

The streaming service was launched in 2019 and has seen a steady climb in both subscribers and monthly price in recent years. Disney+ is currently available at $12.49 monthly ad-free and at $21.49 for the ad-free service.
