Taylor Swift is wishing athletes good luck ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympics.

During the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony, the pop star made a cameo and shared a touching message with the athletes.

"I just wanted to say thank you!" Swift, 36, said in pre-recorded video, wearing a Ralph Lauren Team U.S.A. Polo Bear Long Sleeve.

"Getting to learn your stories and see everything that you’ve sacrificed and all your determination and hard work and passion and everything that’s gotten you to this point where you’re so excellent at something, it’s just really inspiring," she continued.

"I am very grateful for everything you've done to get to this point in your life and grateful you brought us all along with you on this journey so that we get to watch you do this," the "Fate of Ophelia" singer concluded.

"I just hope that you have a wonderful Olympic games. Wishing you all the best of luck and a safe journey and I hope that this is an experience that you will cherish for the rest of your life."

Swift's message to the athletes came hours after she dropped her star-studded music video for "Opalite" on Spotify and Apple Music.

The video begins as a satirical commercial for an "Opalite" spray that promises instant happiness — and turns into a cameo-packed love story around unconventional connections.

In an Instagram post, Swift said that the idea for the video "crash landed into [her] imagination" while promoting her 12th album on Graham Norton's talk show back in October 2025.

"I remember thinking I got ridiculously lucky with the group I was paired with," Swift explained, mentioning the group of actors and singers, which included Cillian Murphy, Domhnall Gleeson, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith and Lewis Capaldi, as people whose work she's "admired from afar."

She also thought it "would be wild" to include her fellow guests and Norton in the video, "like a school group project, but for adults, and it isn’t mandatory."

"To my delight, everyone from the show made the effort to time travel back to the 90’s with us and help with this video," the "Cruel Summer" singer wrote. "You might even recognize some friendly faces from The Eras Tour ... I had more fun than I ever imagined - Made new friends, metaphors, and fashion choices. It was an absolute thrill to create this story and these characters."

"Opalite" was featured on her latest studio album Life of a Showgirl.
