Taylor Swift may sell out stadiums for a living, but at home, she’s apparently helping her fiancé, Travis Kelce, master something far less glamorous and far more personal: remembering details. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end opened up about the unexpected way his partner has rubbed off on him during a recent appearance on “Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce,” hosted by his sister-in-law.

On “Not Gonna Lie,” the topic came up when Kylie Kelce asked Travis Kelce what her husband, his brother Jason Kelce, had told him about her before they met. Travis didn’t hesitate. “Nothing,” he said bluntly. “No, me and Jason, we never talk about any of that stuff. We’re just like, ‘So how much you weighin’? You been tapin’? What are you doing for recovery?’” Kylie said her husband is “notorious” for missing key details about important events and people.

The podcast host laughed, noting that Jason is famously terrible at remembering personal details. That’s when she introduced the concept of what she calls “girl questions,” the kind of follow-ups and personal specifics that often matter most in relationships.

“Taylor’s made me so much better at that,” Travis admitted. Kylie immediately jumped in to clarify, “At getting the details? That’s what we want.” She added that Jason “doesn’t f***ing care.” Earlier this week, Travis attended a “New Heights” Super Bowl party solo and caught himself mentally logging moments the entire night. “I’m just like, ‘Okay, I’ve got to remember I saw that person, got to remember I saw that person,’” he explained. “I’m throwing it all in my memory bank like, ‘Don’t forget!’”

Because he knows his pop star fiancée will ask, he said, “She’s gonna want some details. She didn’t get a chance to go.” Kylie praised him for the effort, calling it genuinely thoughtful. “The beers just make a lot of the details go away,” he joked. “And I’m like, ‘This is how I never remember the details!’”
