Kate Middleton, 44, joined the Royal Family in 2011 following her marriage to Prince William. When Prince William ascends to the throne, she will automatically assume the title of Queen Consort. Royal commentators suggest Kate has been thoroughly preparing for her future role as Queen, undertaking countless royal duties over the years and providing steadfast support to the family.

Now, a royal authority has shared insights into what her future might hold as Queen — and he believes she echoes a particular royal figure.

American-based royal biographer and journalist Christopher Andersen told ABC: "She's the world's number one practitioner of soft power." He added, "World leaders swoon in her presence," while Anderson said, "The presidents of China, France, and the US all act like smitten schoolboys when she is strategically seated to their immediate right at state banquets. In one sense, she is Diana 2.0."

In an interview, William has said that there was "no pressure" for his future wife to be Diana's replacement, as so many people had drawn comparisons between the two, reports Woman and Home.

"Like Kate said, it's about carving your own future. No one is going to try to fill my mother's shoes and what she did was fantastic," he explained. "It's about making your own future and your own destiny, and Kate will do a very good job of that."
