A new report may have revealed what Seth Rollins may be cooking up to keep himself busy once his WWE career comes to an end.

There is no doubt that Rollins will be a WWE Hall of Famer one day. Outside of Roman Reigns, the multi-time world champion is the greatest star of his generation, and there is little he hasn’t done in the company. However, that success has taken a major toll on his body.

While Rollins will go down as one of the top performers of his era, he will also be remembered as a top star who often seemed to suffer major injuries at the worst time. While he is only 40 years old, his days of being a full-time wrestler are getting shorter and shorter. That is why he must start preparing for life after WWE.

Well, it seems like he may be trying to get his foot in the door as being a fixture in the sports media game. According to Sports Business Journal, ā€œRollins has a contract with ESPN that includes a set number of on-air appearances between Good Morning Football, First Take, Get Up, SportsCenter and other ESPN daily shows.ā€

Seth Rollins, the visionary, the revolutionary… the sports analyst?

Over the last few years, as ESPN has more heavily covered WWE content, Rollins has been a frequent ambassador for the company on the sports media monster’s airwaves. He has also been a guest often on The Rich Eisen Show. The guest spots have showcased his sports fandom and deep love of the Chicago Bears.

However, quite a few other WWE stars have shown up often on ESPN’s content in recent years, including Cody Rhodes. But this report shows Rollins’ recent appearances aren’t just promotional work for WWE, and he has clearly impressed ESPN decision-makers.

So many WWE stars try to make the transition from wrestling to acting. Rollins has dipped his toe in that world of late as well. However, having a role in the most recent Captain America movie cut may have sent a message that Hollywood might not be for him. And moving from a love of wrestling to his love of sports in a new career is a far better fit.
