Princess Eugenie welcomed her third child on August 3.
She gave birth in Portugal rather than her home country of England.
Eugenie, her husband Jack Brooksbank, and their kids relocated to Portugal part-time in 2022.
Princess Eugenie welcomed her first daughter on August 3, but she didn’t give birth in the United Kingdom. The 36-year-old royal, whose two sons were born in London, had her youngest child in Portugal.
Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank, 40, shared the news of their daughter’s arrival on August 4. In an Instagram photo, the princess gave fans a first look at their newborn.

“Jack and I are so excited to announce Baby Girl Brooksbank!! We are beyond in love with our girlie,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, a statement from the royal family began: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, born on Monday, 3rd August 2026, at 6:20 p.m., at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal. The baby was born weighing 6 pounds 9 ounces.”

“Their Majesties The King and Queen and other members of The Royal Family were delighted to be informed of the news,” it concluded.
In 2022, Eugenie and her family moved to Portugal part-time due to Brooksbank’s job. After being employed by George Clooney’s tequila company Casamigos, he’s now working with real estate developer Mike Meldman, a business partner of Clooney’s.

Appearing on the “Table Manners” podcast in 2023, Eugenie explained why living in Portugal is “the dream.” “I can go to the supermarket in my exercise gear and my hair piled on my head and not mind. Not care. No one cares,” she said.
Eugenie and her husband welcomed their eldest son, August, in 2021, followed by Ernest in 2023. The princess married Brooksbank in 2018.
