The Prince and Princess of Wales appeared together at the Digger premiere in London this evening.
The couple stepped away from current Royal Family pressures by attending the celebrity-filled event, where the royals interacted with prominent figures including Tom Cruise and David Beckham.
While appearing to enjoy the occasion, William seemed unable to completely set aside underlying tensions, with body language expert Judi James identifying a subtle indication that the royal appeared stressed.
'I was in the room when Charles learned Diana was dead - here's what really happened'
'I worked for the royals when Diana died - I know who is telling the truth'
Speaking to the Daily Express, Judi observed that William displayed signs of strain, with his hands "balled into a fist," as he walked beside his elegant wife.
She noted that despite William's tension, Princess Catherine appeared to be having the "best time".

Ms James said, "There's some hint of tension showing in William's hands that are nearly balled into fists but that is easily outweighed by Kate's obvious intention to show she's having the best time here.

"She was even led down the stairs by Tom Cruise, happily holding his hand when it was offered in a gentlemanly gesture."
She continued: "Kate's body language and facial expressions look radiant here and it's the perfect event for her and William to use as their silent reply."

Their public outing coincides with the release of William's uncle Earl Spencer's explosive memoir.
The publication contained serious claims about King Charles, including allegations that he was reportedly "elated" during a discussion with his former brother-in-law after Diana's passing. He also allegedly informed the Earl that Diana would be "forgotten soon enough".
William's purported true feelings on the matter have also been explored in the latest episode of the Daily Expresso podcast. Mark Dolan noted that, while William is "furious", he continues to remain "firmly on his father's side".
