NFL quarterback Joshua Dobbs is married!

Dobbs, who is a free agent following his release from the New England Patriots earlier this year, tied the knot with Jocelyn Lara on Sunday, May 24. The couple announced the news via a joint Instagram post almost two weeks later on Friday, June 5.

"The Dobbs 🤍 05.24.26," Lara wrote in the caption alongside a dozen wedding photos.

Dobbs, 31, commented, "Forever ❤️."

He added the post to his Instagram Stories with two emojis: "🫶🏽❤️." An acoustic version of "Sweet Love" by Myles Smith played in the background.

Many professional athletes left the newlyweds congratulatory comments, including NFL player Stefon Diggs, who wrote, "🔥🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏👏," and NBA player Grant Williams, who wrote, "📈📈📈📈."

For their special day, Dobbs wore a classic black tuxedo while Lara opted for a strapless wedding dress from Allure Bridals. The couple exchanged vows inside after walking down a long aisle lined with lush greenery and a mix of predominantly blush-toned flowers.

The couple announced their engagement in late March 2025 on Instagram, sharing photos from their romantic proposal at Boston Harbor. Dobbs popped the question to Lara on bended knee atop a bed of rose petals in front of a heart structure made up of white roses featuring a hanging sign that said "Will You Marry Me?"

"To my best friend, my biggest supporter, and the most special person in my life, I'm excited to spend forever with you. ❤️ Cheers to the Dobbs!" Dobbs captioned the post.
