When it comes to his Saturday Night Live costars, Colin Jost will never be safe from jokes about his movie star wife.
Mikey Day took special care to prove this in a cut-for-time Weekend Update segment that saw him pair up with Chloe Fineman as A Guy and His Girlfriend Who's Always Cold. The duo join Jost and Michael Che at the desk to discuss dating app fatigue but can barely get a word out as Fineman can't stop shivering, prompting Day to start removing layers from his body, handing them over to warm her up.
What does any of that have to do with Scarlett Johansson, you ask? Nothing. Nothing at all— which is what makes it so hilarious when Day shocks Jost with an unexpected reveal.
After giving Fineman his jacket and hoodie, Day ends up backed into a corner as she continues shivering.
"This is what people on the Titanic must've felt like in the water" she comically declares, while visibly shivering.
"Are you still cold?! Do you want my shirt too?," asks an exasperated Day. "Fine."
He then rips open his shirt to reveal Johansson's face, tattooed onto his chest. "Well, this is awkward," he says, looking to Jost. "I have a tattoo of your wife and I'm sorry."

Clearly shocked by the reveal, Jost collapsed on the table laughing.
The frustrated Day continued, "I'm a fan! I got it before you were married! I didn't know I'd be taking my shirt off, baby!"
He then handed over the shirt to Fineman, who was still shaking from the "cold."
"How are you still shivering?!" he yelled. "I can't do it anymore, I'm going crazy! I love you, but you're never not cold. Any room we sleep in, any season, any region, any climate! I'm so hot at night!"
With her teeth chattering, Fineman said, "Literally feel my hands, they're so cold."

This seemed to be Day's last straw. "I can't do this, we have to break up," he declared, then turned to Jost, whining, "But she's so pretty, I'll never do better than her!"
In the end, he couldn't let her go and ended up handing over his pants as well. After the "Weekend Update" hosts signed off, ending the sketch, a laughing Jost appeared to ask Day about the tattoo, prompting laughter from them both as Fineman applauded the surprise joke.
Jost is, of course, no stranger to being the butt of a ScarJo joke. Even when he isn't putting his marriage at risk by cold-reading raunchy jokes penned by Che — a "Weekend Update" tradition that even Johansson is genuinely horrified by — SNL always finds a way to quip about their marriage.

Just last month, Che surprised his co-anchor with an unexpected joke about his marriage while delivering a news item about the winners of the U.K.'s 2026 Wife Carrying Race.
"The winners of the annual Wife Carrying contest in England was a couple from Finland," Che said during the segment, "while once again, the winner of the Husband Carrying contest was Scarlett Johansson."
As he named Jost's wife, Che broke and started laughing. He then looked over at his costar, who feigned outrage before joking, "We both put food on the table… They're different kinds of food."
A few weeks prior, Jost read a news item about Johansson being dethroned as the highest-grossing actress of all time.
"Zoe Saldaña—who stars in the new Avatar movie—has surpassed Scarlett Johansson to become the highest-grossing actress of all time," Jost read from his cue cards. As he spoke, a bar graph of both actresses' earnings appeared onscreen.
He continued, "Okay, well let’s see what happens if you include the box office from Scarlett’s husband’s movies."

Accompanied by a comical sound effect, Johansson's earnings then fell from $15.4 billion to $15.1 billion. The change shocked Jost, who burst out laughing as he looked to the crew in disbelief: "It went down?!"
