Kate Middleton was pictured hugging a young mom as she celebrated the end of her chemotherapy treatment.
Claire Lorente, 30, rang the "end of treatment bell" at The Christie hospital in Manchester, England, last week. Family members and staff gathered round to watch the special moment, with the Princess of Wales also present. Kate, who revealed last year she is in remission from cancer, spoke with Claire as she congratulated her for completing her treatment.
Kate, 44, told Claire she had "done brilliantly," before adding, "Well done you... what a journey. It's been a tough one, yeah?" She also spoke about her own experience with cancer during the visit.

With a clip of Claire and Kate's meeting being shared on TikTok, body language expert Judi James has suggested the Princess of Wales formed an emotional bond with the young mom.
Speaking exclusively to The Express US, Judi shared, "Kate's body language rituals here allow her to join in this very special and emotional moment without causing any disruption as her approach makes her seem like one of the woman's family rather than a visiting royal."

The expert continued, "Her 'announcement' or 'intentional' gesture comes as she walks up to the woman setting the tone of the moment by flinging her arms out wide and at an angle to perform a celebratory hug. She looks accessible and uninhibited and lacking in any formality here and her non-verbal signals suggest the deepest of bonds thanks to her own cancer journey that allows her to have complete empathy with the woman and her complex mix of emotions at that special moment.
"There is a tight upper shoulder hug that shows off that state of empathy before Kate steps back to listen and speak but she retains the touch ritual by keeping one hand on the woman's upper arm to keep tuned into her mood and to make it possible for Kate to show the kind of deeper emotions that words often can't convey.
"Kate gently rubs the woman's arm in an almost parental, soothing, reassuring gesture before adding an even more intimate signal of tender affection by rubbing her shoulder with her thumb."
Kate was also seen hugging Claire's partner, Pablo. She told him cancer can be "just as hard for the family and loved ones."
Speaking about this moment, Judi said, "When Kate spots the guy is also in tears she moves to hug him too, throwing her arms around his neck in an equally uninhibited gesture of celebration and empathy.
"She also knows when to step back to allow the woman and her husband to have their moment, clapping in delight as the woman rings the bell."
