Donald Trump Jr. and his wife Bettina Anderson recently enjoyed a luxurious and fun-filled vacation in the Bahamas, which also witnessed the presence of Trump Jr.’s children and some of their family friends. However, his eldest daughter, Kai Trump, who generally doesn’t miss family outings was nowehere to be seen.
Bettina and Trump Jr. shared a collaborative Instagram post on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, where they shared a photo dump of their beach vacation.

The photos showed them posing with Trump Jr.’s children and enjoying some water-based activities in the sea. The family could also be seen going fishing during the outing, and one of the slides also showed Bettina and Trump Jr. stealing a kiss.
They captioned the post stating, “CRUSH FEST ’26. Great crew, Great crush and magical memories!! Nothing beats fresh lobster, salty skin, sun-kissed cheeks, time with family, and friends who are family. These are the kind of days you wish you could bottle up forever. Already counting down to the next one.”
The political activist and his socialite wife could especially be seen bonding with Trump Jr.’s children, Chloe and Spencer (12). He also shares Donald Trump III (17) and Tristan Trump (14) with his former wife, Vanessa Trump. However, Kai’s absence from the trip inevitably commanded attention.
While the exact reason for Kai’s absence from the trip is not known, she had an exciting trip of her own to Costa Rica. She shared an Instagram photo dump on July 8, 2026, showing her posing against the backdrop of the sea in a white tank top and blue and white striped skirt. She visited the destination with her friends before starting college at the University of Miami.
However, Kai Trump’s absence from Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson’s Bahamas trip might not indicate any alarming conflict since the 19-year-old is said to share a close bond with her stepmother.

An insider close to the development told Page Six, “Kai really likes Bettina and gets along with her well. Kai and Bettina have made TikToks in the past and always have a lot of fun together.”
The Trump Organization executive vice president announced his engagement with the model-socialite in December 2025. While the couple tied the knot officially on May 21, 2026, in West Palm Beach, Florida, they hosted a fairytale wedding ceremony on May 23, 2026, at Little Pipe Cay, which is a private island in the Bahamas.
Reportedly, Bettina also gets along well with her husband’s former wife, Vanessa Trump. The source added, “Bettina befriended Vanessa before she even got to know Don. Vanessa thinks Bettina and Don are a great match and fully approves of their relationship.”
Before her marriage to Donald Trump Jr., Bettina Anderson was engaged to Wrigley Candy heir Beau Wrigley, but they called off the engagement before they could tie the knot.
Before Bettina, Trump Jr. was married to Vanessa from 2005 to 2018. He was also formerly engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle in 2020, but the duo split in 2024 before getting married.
